Justice For Melanie Garcia (PT 2) (Hey Ad'Ryan)
ACT 1
AUGUST, WILLIE, and MARKELL are in the living room, making signs and banners for the protest that going to be happening later on the week but a mysterious AD'Ryan comes downstairs with a look on his face and wonders on what all of three are doing, especially at the same time.
AD'RYAN: What in the hell are y'all doing during this time of night and why this little is at our house, Willie and August?
AUGUST: You must forgotten that I'm the older brother here, so know your pl--
WILLIE gets up from the couch and stands between the two before it becomes a big brawl between the two of them.
WILLIE: Come on, y'all! We ain't going to be hearing that bullshit tonight, we got bigger fish to fry or even fight for, bob! Come on, big bruh, tell him the big news that you did today!
AUGUST: I don't know, Will!
MARKELL: Come on, Augustino!
AUGUST: I've made a call with Mr. Barnes, who been mentoring me throughout the time that I was jammed up and stuff but the reason why I made a call with him to let him know about the situation that took place in front of the Garcia's, with y'all and that asshole officer. He's going to be looking into his file really soon and about to make something happen, you guys!
AD'RYAN: (sarcastic) Really! Explain how to do that for us after that asshole of sergeant didn't help you to get out of jail for something that you didn't do, August! Explain that!
AUGUST: Listen here, lil' brother aka Shawn Wayans's nephew love child! That man helped out with alot of shit unlike some people around here!
AD'RYAN: What in the hell that suppose to mean?
WILLIE: Hey, Hey! What in the hell are we fighting for, man? We suppose to fighting for the change in our equality and purpose when it comes to us black men, not this cap shit that you talmbout Ad'Ryan!
AUGUST: Yea, because I don't care if he doesn't help us with this protest that happening this weekend or even coming with us, it's really up to him if he wants to make a differences by showing up and out.
MARKELL: Or especially being there for you instead of being all about his-self.
AUGUST: Right!
AD'RYAN goes upstairs to his room while they finish up making the banners and signs for the protests.
END OF ACT 1
ACT 2
A couple days later, The alarm's going off in both of WILLIE and AUGUST's room. They both wake up and starts to get up and ready for the big protest that's happening later in the afternoon. A hour later, there's a knock at door, AUGUST walks down the stairs to see who was at the door, he opens the door and it was MARKELL and his brothers, DARIUS and BRINX.
AUGUST: Good Morning, y'all! Come on and sit down so we could discuss the plan for the protest and the necessities that we need for it when we get hella bent and drained, you guys!
BRINX: Morning, August! The stuff that Kel was telling me a couple days ago that you were doing for the community, I jhi think that it is a dope thing, A!
AUGUST: Appreciate it, Brinx! I jhi care about my community and the people that I care about in it, where I don't want their lives to be loss young over a reckless ass and crooked ass cop like we have now.
WILLIE comes downstairs.
WILLIE: What's good, Kel, Brinx, & Darius?! Y'all ready for the big day?!
DARIUS: Stay ready so I don't have to get ready, UDIGG!
WILLIE & MARKELL: (yells) HURDDDD CHU!
AUGUST: Brinx, did you bring the extra food and water so these two bad asses over there won't be getting on our nerves about asking us food n shit!
BRINX: Yeah, it's in the bag behind the coach.
AUGUST: Always looking out where its needed. So the plans for this protest is that it's going to be starting at The Warf, the down-down side of downstairs where it going to be hella people fighting for the justice, not only for Melanie but for the people's live lost from these crooked ass officers for no damn reason.
DARIUS: I heard that it's going to make history, A!
AUGUST: No, D! We going to make history and a difference in this world because we're black as F-U-C-K and won't take any cap shit anymoe and will never ever will!
MARKELL: Let's do a "J.F.M.G." on 3!
MARKELL, WILLE, AUGUST, BRINX, and DARIUS gets up from the couch and gather all in a union circle with hands in the middle.
ALL: (shouts) 1, 2, 3 " J.F.M.G."!
WILLIE: (shouts) AD'RYAN!
AD'RYAN: (shouts out from his bedroom) What the hell y'all want?!
WILLIE: (shouts) We're leaving! It's not too late to get ready and come down with us to the protest!
AD'RYAN: (shouts out from his bedroom) I'm good! Tell Kell, Brinx, and D that i said what's up man! Make a big difference in the world today, lil' buddy!
MARKELL: Told y'all!
BRINX: Kel!
MARKELL: What?
ALL: Shut the hell UP!
THEY leaves the house and as they goes outside, the chanting starts and people hears them and starts to follow them....
ALL: (chant/shout/yell) NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE! NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE! STOP KILLING US, WE'RE NOT A MINATORY THREAT TO CROOK ASS COPS! JUSTICE FOR MELANIE GARCIA! JUSTICE FOR GEORGE FLOYD, JUSTICE FOR BRENNA TAYLOR, JUSTICE FOR TREYON MARTIN! SAY HER NAME, SAY HIS NAME, SAY ALL OF THEIR NAMES THAT'S BEEN MURDERED BY THESE LIFELESS ASS COPS! FUCK 12, THAT'S AIN'T SHIT!
They continue to walk and chant their repeated words all the way through the DC streets till they see the cops and SEG. BARNES, who haves a concerned look on his face and starts to pick the bench that's across from him and says...
SEG. BARNES: (shouts) Is there a Aungstino August Thurgood in the building today?, if so come on here and speak to the people that we all here for today!
AUGUST comes up to the bench as SEG. BARNES gives him the microphone and he starts to speak.
AUGUST: Didn't think that I would be speaking in front of a big ass coward like this but at this moment, this is a circumstance where I could relate to at this very moment as we're fighting for the lives that was loss over racism within the brutality of the police and we're sick of this shit. Like the other day or two, while me and my other brother was having a conference with our lil' brother (points at WILLIE) about watching his surroundings when it comes to this things and never ever do things that ever comes back to haunt him as a statistic black men who wouldn't amount to him,which I wouldn't allow that to ever happen and that's on GD! I want all of my powerful, intelligent, excellence, beautiful black kings and women to use their rights to fight the odds that's been accused of us where we're less than or even trash. WE ARE A VOICE IN THIS WORLD AND GOING TO USE THIS BITCH!
BOY IN THE BACK: (shouts) NO JUSTICE,NO PEACE UNLESS OFFICER LEWINSKY IS ARRESTED! NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE UNLESS OFFICER LEWINSKY IS ARRESTED!
Then, thousands of people chanted with the lil' boy and followed him down the block with his repeated sayings, with the the banners and posters that both WILLIE, AUGUST, and MARKELL had made in their hands. AUGUST gracefully walks down from the bench and stands next to SEG. Barnes and BRINX.
SEG. BARNES: I jhi think that you made a soul proud today, son!
BRINX: Yeah, but mostly important: You definitely made me proud, that's no fucking cap!
AUGUST: (moves towards BRINX's face, with the flirty eyes) Really, Huh!
BRINX: Deadazz! So proud of what you've said up there and stood up for us, Augustino! You have no idea on what you impact that you're going to start on doing, especially speaking up and defend us all! That's all I want in a dope ass soulmate!
AUGUST grabs BRINX's face and kisses him, everyone's face is in shocked but in reality they know that this was moment that they needed to happy. After the kiss happened, they continue to protest down the streets of DC till the next following day.
END OF ACT 2
ACT 3
The Alarm's going off in all rooms of AD'RYAN, WILLIE, and AUGUST! They starts to get ready for school, and work. As they get ready to get out of the door, there is a knock at the door, WILLIE opens the door, it's BRINX and MARKELL!
WILLIE: Good Morning, you guys!
MARKELL: Morning! Did you get the stuff for school or what?
WILLIE: It's in my bookbag so we're good for today!
BRINX: What's good for today? Isn't something that me and your brothers gotta worry about?
MARKELL: No!
WILLIE: It's jhi a videotape from a protest that we showcasing for the class today!
BRINX: Okay, cool! Proud of y'all
AUGUST and AD'RYAN walks down the stairs, all drippy for work and school.
AUGUST: Yeah, definitely proud of you guys as well! Hey babe!
BRINX: Wassup babes!
AUGUST: You came to pick Willie up for school, that's so sweet?
BRINX: Yeah, anything for you since you got that big meeting with the network...
AUGUST: Can't say too much but definitely, it's going to be a hit.
AD'RYAN: I know that I don't show it as much but I'm definitely proud to be your brother, man! Love you 4LIFE!
They give each other a bro hug and they starts to leave out the house for work/school.
